T112 - Small Antique Trunk Lock & Key - SOLD 01/2022

A rectangular antique trunk lock in good used condition! An early style lock made of iron or steel with a hinged hasp latch. Comes with one original steel barrel key. The base measures 2 7/8" wide by 2 1/8" tall and the top hasp is 3" tall by 1 3/8" wide at the top. This lock requires a shallow cutout in the trunk, about 1 1/2" high by 1 1/2" wide for the base. The lock has the old black finish with some wear. See the pictures for details of the condition and style. A great lock for many small antique trunks of the 1860's through the early 1900's. Put on with trunk nails or rivets. Very hard to find! Price includes shipping cost in the US.
