M101 - Iron Trunk Handle Holders - SOLD 07/2023

A set of antique cast iron trunk handle holders or end caps with the star and diamond cutouts. They measure 2 1/4" by 2 3/8" high, edge to edge. Made for the standard size slotted handles that are up to 1 1/4 inches wide. They are in excellent condition, have been thoroughly cleaned and painted to have the look of the original tinned finish. See pictures for details of the condition. They are cast iron, very strong and have the center peg for the slotted handles. Used on trunks from the late 1870's to the early 1900's. No cracks or damage. Install with trunk nails.
