M107 - Antique Trunk Strap Holders

A pair of antique tinned cast iron holders for front leather straps. These were used on trunks from the 1870's and later that had the front leather tie-down straps. These are strong cast iron with the original tin coating that gives them the silver look. Excellent condition. They are 1 7/8" wide by 1 1/4" high. These hold straps up to 1" wide that were attached to the front of the trunk and then put up through these holders and back down to the buckle. Very hard parts to find.
