M122 - Antique Trunk Strap Holders

A set of four leather strap holders which were attached to the edges of trunks to hold the leather tie-down straps. These are heavy stamped steel, cleaned and painted satin black. Excellent condition. They are 2 1/2" wide by about 1 1/2" on each side. These hold straps up to 1 1/4" wide. On many trunks of the 1880's to early 1900's.
