M106 - Antique Trunk Latches - SOLD 10/2020

A pair of antique cast trunk latches in a hard to find style patented in 1873. These are marked with the patent date of July 1873 and measure 4 1/4" tall by 2 1/8" wide when latched together. They have the old original black finish with just some minor wear. See pictures for details of the condition. They work well and have the small pull out locking lever pieces. They are cast iron and very strong. Used on trunks from the 1870's to the 1890's. Install with trunk nails or rivets. Very hard to find!
