M103 - Antique Trunk Latches

A pair of antique trunk latches with fancy top lifter pieces. These are not marked but appear to be the #4 size, and measure 5 1/2" tall by 3" wide when latched together. They have the old original black finish with just some age wear. See pictures for details of the condition. They work well and have strong rear spring steel pieces. The top pieces are cast iron and the bases are heavy stamped steel. Used on trunks from the 1890's to the 1920's. Install with trunk nails or rivets. Hard to find!
