M101 - Antique Trunk Latches

A pair of steel and iron antique trunk latches. These are not marked and measure 4 3/4" tall by 2 7/8" wide when latched together. They have the original black finish with just a little age wear. See pictures for details of the condition. They work well and have good strong spring steel pieces. The top pieces are cast iron and the bases are heavy stamped steel.. Used on trunks from the 1880's to the 1920's. Install with trunk nails or rivets. Hard to find!
