M118 - Cast Iron Trunk Handle Holders

A set of 4 heavy duty cast iron trunk handle holders. These were taken off a trunk from the mid to late 1880's but were used from the 1880's to early 1900's on high-quality trunks. They are very strong and have the large center peg for handles with a slot. These measure 3" high by a little over 1" wide. They will hold standard trunk handles 1 1/4" wide as shown in the picture (handles not included). These are clean and can easily be painted if desired. They were originally tinned and still have some of the silver color if you prefer the old look. If you want an authentic look to your antique trunk, don't use cheap new brass plated handle holders. These are great for many types of trunks, especially if they had leather or metal holders for the slotted handles. One set of 4 available and hard to find. (Leather handles not included).

Note: You don't see many items marked "Sold" on this page because I quickly replace sold items with more antique trunk parts. Check back often for updates.

Price: $24 includes postage in the U.S. Higher shipping rates applies to other countries, please email for rates.
