M103 - Antique Trunk Catches

This is a nice pair of old trunk front catches, or latches if you prefer, circa 1880's to about 1910. These are in very nice used condition, with cast iron top lifter pieces and heavy stamped metal bottoms (not lightweight tin). When closed these measure 5 inches top to bottom and are 2 5/8 inches wide at the widest point. Great for medium and larger size trunks of most styles. These can be put on with trunk nails and/or rivets. They work well, are complete, and have no damage, just some expected surface pitting from age. Can be used as is or painted. Only one pair available of this style. Difficult to find and look much nicer than new style catches on an antique trunk!
