M124 - Iron Trunk Latch #2

$29.00

A single antique trunk latch in a style patented in 1882 and used by many trunk makers. Sometimes you just need to replace one broken latch. This is 4 1/2" tall by 2 3/8" wide (to the edges) when latched together. These were made in sizes 1 through 5, with 1 being the smallest. This has a satin black painted finish. See pictures for details of the condition and design. This works well and is complete. Heavy cast iron with no damage. Used on many types of trunks from the 1880's to early 1900's. Install with trunk nails and/or rivets. Very hard to find in good complete condition.

Price: $29 includes postage in the United States only. (no international shipping on this item.)

Note: you won't see many hardware items marked sold on this page because I quickly replace them with more antique trunk hardware. Visit often for updates. Thanks for visiting This Old Trunk.
