T115 - Rare Opalescent Doll Trunk with Key

Size: 10 1/2" wide, about 5" tall, by 6 1/2" deep.

Attention Doll Trunk and Miniatures Collectors! This is a fabulous mini doll trunk which is circa 1920-1930 and is in near mint condition. I've only seen a few of this style doll trunk in about 35 years, and this is definitely in the best condition. It shows minimal wear on the brass plated hardware and has a few minor spots on the exterior and bottom of the interior. But you will be amazed at how beautiful this little trunk is with the multi-colored opalescent finish.

The lighter colored checks in the pattern resemble an opal in the display of various colors! The pictures don't do this justice, but if you look closely you will see some of the colors coming through. In complete condition with original leather handles, catches, working Eagle Lock with key, and copper colored paper lining. It even has a little Victorian style embossed picture of a boy and girl in the lid. You won't find one nicer or more adorable that this. Listed in the antique trunk history and price guide at up to $250, a real collector's item. A great gift for doll collectors too!
