L108 - Antique Trunk Lock & Barrel Key - SOLD 01/2022

An antique brass plated steel trunk lock, marked only with "321" with one working barrel key! A standard size trunk lock that measures 6" tall and 2 1/4" wide at the base, and the top receiver piece is 3 3/84" wide and 2 1/2" high. (a total of 6 1/2" high when locked together measured to the edges) This is the same as Eagle, Corbin, Excelsior, or Yale locks of this style. The lock is in good used condition with an aged brass plated finish, perfect for antique trunks! The key is the Corbin key which is the equivalent of the generic 321 key. This is well made and heavier weight than the new reproduction locks of this style. This style lock was used on many trunks from the 1880's to the early 1900's. This requires a shallow cutout or hole in the lid of the trunk about 1 5/8" diameter.

Old authentic American-made locks look much better on antique trunks than those foreign-made reproduction locks, plus they will increase the value of your trunk. (It is very obvious to most people when you put a new reproduction lock on an antique trunk.)
