L103 - Early Iron & Brass Eagle Hasp Lock

This is an early (mid 1800's) iron and brass trunk lock. The base plate measures 4" wide and 3" high. The hasp is 3 1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide at the top. The key escutcheon and moving cover are thick brass. There is a large eagle stamped into the brass keyhole cover. The lock is heavy duty iron and very strong. This lock does not have a key. (NO key included). The lock requires a cutout for the lock plate about 2 1/2" wide and 2 3/8" high. The lock is complete and should work if you can locate the correct key. For good quality trunks of the mid to late 1800's.
