L119 - Antique Trunk Lock & Key

A rectangular antique trunk lock in very good used condition! An early handmade lock made of iron with a hinged iron hasp. Comes with one original handmade barrel key. The base measures 3" wide by 2 3/8" tall and the top hasp is 3" tall by 1" wide. This lock requires a cutout in the trunk, about 1 1/2" high by 1 3/4" wide for the base. The lock has the old black finish with some wear. See the pictures for details of the condition and style. A great lock for many early antique trunks of the 1840's through the 1860's or later. Put on with trunk nails or rivets. Very hard to find especially with the unique barrel key! Price includes shipping cost in the US.
