L120 - Yale & Towne Trunk Lock & Key

A vintage brass plated steel trunk lock, marked "Yale & Towne Mfg. Co. Stamford, Conn. USA" with one original Y&T barrel key! This measures 4 3/4" tall and 4" wide with the back plate when all together. The same as Eagle locks of this style. The lock is in very good used condition with the old worn finish and brass rivets, perfect for antique trunks! This is well made and much heavier weight than the new reproduction trunk locks. This style lock was used on many trunks of the 1890's to early 1900's. This is a surface lock so no holes are needed to install it. Old authentic American made locks look much better on antique trunks than those foreign made reproduction locks, plus they will increase the value of your trunk. (It is very obvious to most people when you put a new reproduction lock on an antique trunk.) Please email with any questions you may have.
