L100 - Brass and Steel Eagle Trunk Lock

A very heavy duty steel and solid brass lock marked "Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, Conn. USA". Comes with 1 original marked key. Lock is clean and works well. The drop latch part of the lock is solid brass. These were used on trunks and military footlockers of many types from around 1900 to the 1940's. This style lock requires a 1 1/2" hole in the trunk to install the bottom portion. Size when locked, top to bottom is 5 3/4". Widest part measures 3 1/4" to edges. From hole to hole on width of bottom piece is 2 3/4". If you need more information please contact us as there are no returns on the antique locks. Very hard to find item, only one available.
