L108 - Antique Eagle Trunk Lock & Key

An antique Eagle trunk lock in good used condition! Made of steel and cast iron, with brass rivets, and a flat steel key. The base measures 3 7/8" wide by 3" tall and the top hasp latch is 3" tall by 2 1/2" wide to the edges. The lock is marked "Eagle Lock Co. Terryville Conn. USA" just below the keyhole piece. This lock requires a shallow cutout in the trunk which is 1 3/4" wide by 2" high. There are extra holes on the lock plate for attaching to the trunk. The lock shows some surface wear but still works. Note: the key is not the original key but it does work.

A great lock for many types of antique trunks of the 1880's through the early 1900's. Very hard to find and only one available! Please see all the pictures for the details of the condition and design.
